How to Use ConvertET

Basic Conversion Workflow

Step 1: Select the Conversion Format

Upon opening ConvertET, you will see all supported format conversions displayed at the top of the main interface. You can quickly locate the required conversion using the following methods:

Click on the category buttons (All, Data, Image, Document, Audio, Video, Ebook) to filter for a specific type.

Use the search bar to enter a format name and search.

Directly click the format conversion card to complete your selection.

Step 2: Add Files for Conversion

You can add files in two ways:

Drag-and-Drop: Drag one or more files directly from your file explorer into the designated file drop zone.

Browse: Click the “Browse” button and select the files you need to convert from the file selection dialog.

After adding files, the list will display the name, size, and format of each file. To remove an individual file, click the delete button; to clear all files, click the “Clear All” button.

Step 3: Confirm Format Settings

Once files are added, the format selection drop-down list will appear. The software automatically detects the source format; you should confirm the source format is correct and then select the desired target format.

Step 4: Configure Conversion Parameters

The parameter panel on the right will display available configuration options based on the selected format conversion. Adjust the parameter values as needed. If the current conversion has no configurable parameters, the panel will display a corresponding notification.

Step 5: Set the Output Directory

Click the “Output Directory” input field and select the saving location for the converted files from the pop-up directory selection dialog.

Step 6: Start the Conversion

After confirming all settings, click the “Start Conversion” button. The software will process all pending files sequentially and display the conversion status in real-time within the progress area.

Step 7: View Conversion Results

Upon completion, you can click the “Open Output Folder” button to directly access the converted files. The conversion record is automatically saved to the history for future review.
