ConvertET Core Functionality
Format Conversion Browsing
All supported format conversions are displayed at the top of the main software interface. You can quickly filter specific types using the category tags or use the search bar to find conversions by format name. Clicking any conversion card instantly selects the source and target formats.
File Selection and Management
You can add files for conversion in two ways: by dragging them directly into the designated file drop zone or by clicking the “Browse” button to select them from your file explorer. Added files are displayed in a list, showing the file name, size, and format information. You can individually remove a file or clear all selected files with a single click.
Format Selection
After adding files, the software automatically identifies the source format based on the file extension. You must select the target format from the drop-down list; the system only displays options supported by the current source format.
Conversion Parameter Configuration
Different format conversions support various configurable parameters, which you can adjust in the parameter panel on the right. Parameters automatically switch based on the selected conversion type. If a conversion has no configurable parameters, the panel will display a corresponding notification. You can click the “Reset to Default” button to restore all parameters to their default values.
Output Directory Settings
Before starting the conversion, you must specify the saving location for the converted files. Clicking the output directory input field or the folder icon will open the directory selection dialog.
Batch Conversion
ConvertET supports simultaneous conversion of multiple files, all utilizing the same target format and conversion parameters. Professional version users benefit from unlimited batch conversion capabilities.
Conversion Progress Monitoring
Once the conversion starts, the progress area displays the overall progress, the number of completed files, and the counts for successful and failed conversions. You can expand the details to view the status of each individual file (Pending, Converting, Completed, or Failed). The task can be stopped at any time by clicking the “Cancel” button.
Conversion History
The software automatically saves a history of all conversion tasks, including the conversion time, source and target formats, file count, and the number of successes and failures. You can review past conversions, quickly open the output folder, or delete unwanted history records.
License Management
You can view your current license status within the software, including the version type and expiration date. If you possess a Professional license key, you can activate it in the License Management interface.
